The different play styles of this lottery is a big part of what makes the Mississippi Pick 4 game so exciting to play. Read through our simple guide to learn how the different styles work and which will suit you the most.
An Exact Order play has the slimmest odds to win but if you do manage to match all numbers in their drawn order, you’ll also win the top jackpot of $5,000.
With the Any Order play, your numbers can match in any order to win. The fun part of this play type is that different number combinations will have different odds of winning and the prizes will change accordingly.
For a 50/50 play, your wager is split so that half of your wager will go on the Exact Order play, the other will go on the Any Order play. It’s the best of both worlds as you can win prizes for both play types if you win the Exact Order play!
This play type boosts your chances of winning more prizes in exchange for a higher ticket cost. The Combo Play is basically making a wager on any combination of the 4 numbers that you choose.
The odds of winning will change depending on the type of Play Style that you select. For 50/50, Any Order, and Combination plays, the odds will change with the numbers that you choose. Some numbers create fewer combinations than other selections, for example, there are 24 different number combinations with the digits 1234, but you can only have 4 combinations with 1114.
You can find a table below that highlights the way that odds of winning will be affected by the numbers that you choose and the play type.
